This blog is about education. If you are a fellow sufferer (starfish) then I might can help you if you will consider what I say  (2 Timothy 2:7).   Since I started this blog I have added twice the material online that I put in my original self-published (tome) book. I probably should just reprint the book with this added information but I don’t’ think Amazon would now let me – since they would consider this copyright infringement because I published it online before listing it to be published with them.

So this IS known by the Celiac community. And undigested Gluten … as I say in my book “How to Fight Gluten and Win” and have said in this blog undigested anything (lactose anyone) then damage occurs.

So what is this hyrolization you speak of? And how do I “get some of this” you ask? Simply defined it is the process of digestion but more specifically “It is the process of enzymatic breakdown of protein, normally conducted in the GI tract (stomach and small intestine).” According to http://www.gestaltreality.com/2010/08/28/hydrolyzed-protein-analysis-comparison/

“Hydrolyzed protein is protein that has been hydrolyzed or broken down into its component amino acids. While there are many means of achieving this … the most common is prolonged boiling in a strong acid . .. to stimulate the naturally occurring hydrolytic process” (i,e. digestion).

Let us explore a couple a couple words from these citations about what is happening when we Celiacs eat gluten. Normal and Natural – a Normal digestive process Naturally digests gluten for us.

How do we get there? Or is this even possible for people with GI problems? You ask … that is why I wrote my ebook  “How to Fight Gluten and Win or How the Doctor’s Almost Killed Me” available as an ebook on Amazon key word “Fight Gluten Win” and write this blog throwing back starfish.

Can I find a “new” normal? I think you can if I am right and Epigenetics (Stress) is/has depleted you of your natural way to digest gluten.

How do we know this for sure? We can’t for sure unless we are willing to take the missing nutrient according to Prousky “a vitamin B3 deficiency occurs when the intake of the vitamin is  below a known minimal amount that guards against Pellagra.  A vitamin B3 dependency occurs when there is an increased metabolic need for the vitamin requiring treatment with megadose amounts.

A deficiency is why we enrich/fortify are bread with Niacin our milk with Vitamin D and our salt with Iodine.  A dependency is when are bodies don’t function properly due to high stress levels requiring high or increased metabolic need as quoted by Prousky above.”
